Earth and Co joins Kaplan at a two-day event on innovation and impact

Earth and Co joined Kaplan Middle East & North Africa for a two-day regional event titled “Turning Sustainability into a Competitive Advantage,” where Melina Taprantzi, Founder of Earth and Co, contributed as part of an esteemed panel of experts and practitioners shaping the future of responsible business in the region.

The first stop was Riyadh, hosted at The Financial Academy, where discussions explored the “do well and do good” strategies adopted by forward-thinking companies such as ACWA Power and Al Safi Danone. The panel highlighted the expanding business opportunities that arise when long-term value creation is deeply embedded into an organization’s DNA.

The second stop was Dubai, where insights were drawn from the ambitious initiatives of industrial leaders like Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) and global service providers such as VFS Global. The conversations also emphasized the crucial role of academia in equipping future leaders and accelerating regional progress.

A key highlight of the event was the recognition of the jointly developed ESG and Sustainability Foundations program by Earth and Co and Kaplan, which recently received the “Innovator in Sustainability & ESG Learning” award at the 6th World ESG Summit in Riyadh. The programme stands out for its innovative design—built on a state-of-the-art platform integrating videos, interactive content and AI-enabled learning support—and for providing an accredited certificate that strengthens professional credibility.

Earth and Co is proud to collaborate with partners driving meaningful impact across sectors and remains committed to empowering organisations and individuals across the region.
